The hellebores are blooming!

We've been having ridiculously warm weather, only to get warmer this week. 

I think mother nature is getting confused. Isn't it still winter?

Sometimes I find doing the dishes comforting. 

There's something about sloshing around in soapy suds and warm water on a chilly day.

(note to self: must repaint kitchen soon, those fake faux bricks are tragic)
